Lingua Train

The web site is available in English, French and German.
Lingua train is an information site for Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Icelandic, Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish. These languages are also known as least widely used and least taught (LWULT) languages.
The lingua train has been set up as a site for the promotion of the LWULT languages in Europe, by providing on-line information on languages and culture of the participating languages.
The web site aims at reinforcing linguistic diversity in Europe.
It contains:
-search for courses : data -base with up to date information on language courses
-cultural institutions: official institutes responsible for the promotion of their language and culture abroad
-brochures : "plurilingual Europe a tempting perspective" which promotes cultural diversity. It presents in 6 languages statistics, short texts relevant web sites etc..
-links: instructions on adding or updating courses info in the lingua train data-base
